FLEUR DE LOTUS #23015

The lotus flower is one of the oldest symbols and aspires to the highest purity, it is the only aquatic plant that can emerge from the darkness of the mud to bloom and rise above the water to give a flower of incredible beauty. It is precisely in this impurity, in the depth of the brackish waters, that it will draw its elegance and beauty to be finally attracted by the light.
At night it closes and darkens under the surface, at dawn it leaves and opens again. Symbol of absolute purity and Awakening, emblem of spiritual elevation, the lotus has the particularity of taking root in mud, its stem bathing in water while its flower blossoms majestically on the water.

Intact with impurity, the lotus symbolizes the purity of heart and mind. The lotus represents the elevation of the soul, first purely materialistic through its roots, then tasting the experience of water through its stem, to finally reach enlightenment and awakening through its flower.
Tibetan Buddhists see through the Lotus the true nature of Beings, the stem being samsara (cycles of life and death), the flower symbolizing peace and serenity.
To create my bracelets, I chose pink to symbolize the purity of the lotus and rhodonite, a magnificent black stone veined with pink to symbolize the transformation of the lotus that is born from the dark vase to go towards the light and blossom and become the magnificent flower that we know.

In Buddhism, the lotus flower is emblematic of Buddha. So I added a Buddha's head and a lotus charm to complete the whole thing. Soak up the purity of the lotus, and let yourself be charmed by its beauty!

  GAÏA #23016  

 Most of us feel that the Earth is more than just a simple rocky sphere surrounded by a thin layer of air and covered with oceans and life. We feel a sense of belonging similar to that of our home. If we are all creatures that are part of Gaia, large or small, from bacteria to whales, then we are all potentially important to her well-being. We felt that the destruction of a series of species is a bad thing, now we know why.
We are no longer allowed to react with simple regret to the disappearance of a great whale or a blue butterfly; by eliminating one of these creatures, it is perhaps a part of ourselves that we are destroying, because we too are part of Gaia. The earth is more than just a house, it is a living system of which we are part of. By creating this trio of bracelets, I wanted to pay tribute to our Mother Earth Gaia.

I used Lapis lazuli, a magnificent deep ultramarine blue stone and small golden inclusions of pyrite to embody the water of Gaia; in addition, I used burnt orange cornelian and sunstone with its glittery terra-cotta color to invoke the land of our terrestrial continents.

Of course, I have added a little golden heart to remind her that Gaia, our Mother Earth, suffers from all our abuses and also deserves to receive all our love and respect.
